Project objectives:

To assist the Vietnamese seafood industry in improving their management capacity and skills by providing training to the technical staff and managers in seafood processing enterprises in combined practical and academic approach within the field of management processes

To develop and deliver a training course focusing on management of processes and system thinking targeting quality managers in the seafood sector.
Results/outcome

A set of teacher materials and student materials was developed for course in management of process such as Environmental Management System (EMS) according ISO 14001;
-
A series of training course on these management systems (ISO 14002, OHS18001) were provided to technical staff and managers of 360 representatives from seafood processing industry.
VPC’s role (leader, partner) and level of involvement in the project
VPC is the external expert of the project which is responsible for prepare set of training material for teachers and students, provide training courses for seafood processing industry
