VPC's programs cover the industry, service and agriculture sectors, with special focus on socio-economic development, environmental management, productivity measurement and analysis, quality management, production and technology management, information technology, green productivity, integrated community development.
Its activities include basic research studies, surveys, training courses, seminars, publications, and audio-visual training materials.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION EXPERIENCES
VPC has been implementing wide range of environmentally sustainable development projects in communities throughout Vietnam since 1998. These projects include the following ongoing activities:

With the support of Asian Productivity Organization, VPC has conducted Green Productivity for 96 villages in 21 provinces out of 61 provinces of Vietnam. The GP options like small-scale Biogas plant construction, energy saving, etc for rural areas.

With support of Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft e. V.(CDG) and the Asian Society for Environmental Protection (ASEP), VPC has conducted the project "Environmental Management System (EMS); EMS Audit and ISO 14000 Certification" for more than 45 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on Textile, Electroplating and Food Processing industries

With the support of the Asian Productivity Organization, VPC is implementing Green Productivity (GP) Project at Hoang Thach and Sai Son cement companies. The main objectives of project is to assist these cement factories to improve their environmental condition through application of GP options, which contribute to CO2 reduction

With the support of CDG and ASEP, VPC is implementing the "Environmental Performance Indicator" project for a wide range of small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam from 2002 - 2005.

VPC is counterpart of NEDO in the feasibility study on modernization of cement sector in suburban area of Ha Noi – Viet Nam.

With the support of Netherland Development Organization (SNV), VPC conducted project of enhancing environmental awareness at primary schools

VPC participated in project “Vietnames seafood export and quality improvement project” under the Seafood Export and Quality Improvement Programme (SEAQUIP);

With the support of Asian Productivity Organization (APO), VPC is implementing demonstration project on generating value from industry’s solid waste – an eco-business for Ha Noi city

With the support of Asian Productivity Organization (APO), VPC is implementing project on development of a virtual Green Productivity Resource Centre for community development in Viet Nam.

Staff competence
VPC has young and dynamic staffs with high academic qualifications and experiences with experiences in various fields such as Environmental Engineering, Environmental Technology and Management, Industrial Engineering, Community Development,etc. Head office of VPC locates in Hanoi and it has represetatives offices in Danang city and Ho Chi Minh City.
Resources
The VPC has a collaborative network of wide range of expertise professionals with manay international and national agencies. International agencies include Asian Productivity Organization (APO), International Green Productivity Association (IGPA), Asian Society for Environmental Protection (ASEP), etc. National include the Department of Science, Technology and Environment (DOSTE), Department of Rural and Agricutlture Development (DRADs), Universities, Institutes and Research Development Centre.
