To reduce the greenhouses gas emissions by carrying out the feasibility study of introduction of Japanese energy conservation technology to the cement industry in Vietnam and contribute to sustainable economic development in Vietnam | The GP program has brought significant benefits for people in rural area in terms of living standard enhancement and environmental protection. The program has achieved the visible outcome such as Biogas, energy saving stoves, hygienic latrine, etc and also invisible achievements such as awareness enhancement of people about their role for environment protection. Green Productivity (GP) for Integrated Community Development (ICD): 2001 - 2003
The GP program has brought significant benefits for people in rural area in terms of living standard enhancement and environmental protection. The program has achieved the visible outcome such as Biogas, energy saving stoves, hygienic latrine, etc and also invisible achievements such as awareness enhancement of people about their role for environment protection. | These projects was implemented in 9 villages in 8 provinces (Bac Giang, Ninh Binh, Hue, Danang, Ho Chi Minh, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Phu Yen) of Vietnam Green Productivity Demonstration Assistance (GPDA) and Integrated Community Development (ICD): 2000 - 2001These projects was implemented in 9 villages in 8 provinces (Bac Giang, Ninh Binh, Hue, Danang, Ho Chi Minh, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Phu Yen) of Vietnam | The concept of Green Productivity was introduced to the farmers in three mentioned villages. The farmers have applied this concept to increase their productivity and environmental performance in their village.
